„Disaster risk management and fire safety engineering“ Master study promoted in Tuzla

On the occasion of April 4 – International Day for Mine Awareness and Assistance in Mine Action a ceremony was held at Faculty of mining, geology and civil engineering (RGGF) in Tuzla.

At ceremony attended by a large number of guests from the Bosnia and Hercegovina Mine Action Centre (BH MAC), Cantonal Civil Protection Administration and Municipal Civil Protection Services representatives, as well as number of professors, university and high school students, a new master study was promoted.

K-Force project and master study „Disaster Risk Management and Fire Safety Engineering“  was introduced and presented by Prof. dr. Rijad Sisic by saying: „The aim is to start a master study that is in line with the standards in this field, and adapted to our needs. One of the needs specific to the Balkans is precisely protection against landmines and unexploded remnants“.

It is emphasized that new master study will start from the next academic year and it will enhance  educational quality at this institution.
